The IB Curriculum
Our Curriculum - An IB World School
Boca Prep International offers a curriculum that integrates Florida State Standards and the pedagogy of the International Baccalaureate (IB). As a
World
IB school, we offer three programs of international education: Diploma (Grades 11 and 12), Middle (Grades 6 through10), and Primary Years Programs (Grades Pre-K through 5).
The IB designed The Primary Years Program for ages 3 through 10, and the Middle Years program for ages 11 though 16. Students who participate in these programs are well prepared to enter the Diploma Program. Boca Prep International has Candidate Status aiming for full authorization during 2011.
After two years of study in the Diploma Program, students take exams that independent examiners assess outside the school. Leading universities around the world recognize an IB Diploma student by offering college credit for successful completion of the requirements. Boca Prep International was authorized to offer the Diploma Program beginning 2009 and joins over 2,500 other IB World Schools in 129 countries.
